Ralph M. Cribben, age 83, of Plymouth, formerly of Brockton, died November 21, 2012, following a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Ruth T. (Salpi) Cribben. Ralph was born, raised and educated in Brockton, a son of the late Michael and Julia (Hunt) Cribben. During the Korean War Ralph served in the US Air Force as a S-Sgt. Before his retirement, he was a truck driver for the Teamsters Union, Local 259 working for News Distributors in Wellesley. Previously he worked at Mullaire News in Brockton and Johns Motor Express in Pembroke. He enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, Atlantic City and other short trips. He also enjoyed puttering around his home and yard. He was the father of Edward Cribben of Bridgewater, Daniel Cribben and his wife Rhonda of Plymouth and the late Kenneth and Kevin Cribben; grandfather of Holly, Kyle, Caitlyn and Courtney Cribben; brother of Richard Cribben and his wife Ginger of Lakeville, Harold Cribben and his wife Rita, Mildred and Ellen Cribben all of Brockton, and the late James, John, William, Gerald and Lawrence Cribben. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-7pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 8am for a funeral mass in St. Ann’s Church West Bridgewater at 9am. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
